The top two spots are occupied by two of the most passionate fan bases in the county. Union Berlin, with a home stadium only housing 24,000, and with very few nearby games, are punching well above their weight. The two “super clubs” in the Bundesliga 2, Hamburg and Stuttgart, also feature.
Further down the list, St Pauli, Dynamo Dresden and Karlsruher SC also made the list, despite playing in the second tier and the top 20 is rounded out by 3. Liga side TSV 1860 Munich, proving they still have a passionate and committed fan base.
